Put new wheel flares and lower trim strips on the Mini today. Pretty easy job all around. Did get to figure out how to use rivnuts, so yay there! The old grey ones had some cracks and sort of looked faded out, and a local Mini owner gave me these black ones, so I went with those. I think it turned out pretty well.

The old grey flares are above along with the post event beer. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Looks sharp! You didn’t even have any surprises under those old flares.

Yes, I was please that everything looked good when I removed the old ones.  There was a bit of dirt under there, so I will add removing them and cleaning the area to my periodic maintenance.

New ones look way better, nicely done.

Aren’t rivnuts great?

Pretty cool. First time that I’ve used them.

Are you like, an engineer or something?

Looks nice, and a beer well earned.
